Schopf’s Hilltop Dairy is located North of Sturgeon Bay off of Hwy 42 on Cty Road I, near Carlsville, WI. It is open daily from 10-5 everyday, except Sundays.
At Schopf’s Hilltop Dairy you are greeted by a giant cow named Cookie. Cookie is at is at least 15 feet tall.
Once you park you can walk the right side of the store to a petting zoo. The small petting zoo has goats, calves, and sheep. There quiet friendly, and I could pet all of them. Inside the store you can buy food to feed the animals for a dollar.
Schopf’s Hilltop Dairy makes pizza and serves 30 different flavors of ice-cream in their store. They have a variety of different candies and fudge.
A cool feature of Schopf’s Hilltop Dairy is the free self guided tour of the milking parlor through their viewing window. It is a behind the scenes look at how they milk cows. If you want to try your hand at milking a cow, you can use the replica of the cow in the palor and a real milking machine.
If you visit during the fall months, try navagating their corn maze, the design changes each year and takes about 2 hours to complete. Adults run; $8.00 Children $6.00 and Children under 3 are free.
